Campus Success Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Emmber, Inc. / Om Apps (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Campus Success iOS app and related backend services at pluse.to/fsu-api.
Information we collect
- Account. Email address, display name, and authentication credentials (or Sign in with Apple identity tokens). Passwords are stored hashed on our servers.
- Application profile. Contact details you provide (phone, location preferences), resume files you upload, and major / class year preferences.
- Applications. Records of jobs you Easy Apply to (role title, employer, source URL, timestamps) so we can show your Applied list and deliver application packages.
- Usage & device. Basic technical logs (IP address, timestamps, app/API errors) needed to operate and secure the service. We do not sell personal information.
- Job search. Search queries and location (e.g. ZIP) you enter are sent to our job data providers (including Adzuna and other listing sources) to return listings. We do not control third-party job sites you open.
- Purchases. If you subscribe to Autopilot, Apple processes the payment. We receive an entitlement signal (that your Apple ID has an active subscription) so we can unlock unlimited Easy Apply and background Autopilot. We do not receive your full card number.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, Easy Apply, Applied tracking, Autopilot, and profile sync.
- Email application materials to employers or our application inbox when you Easy Apply.
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
- Comply with law and enforce our terms.
Sharing
- Employers / inbox. When you Easy Apply, your profile details and resume may be sent to the employer contact or our configured application inbox.
- Apple. In-app purchases and subscriptions are billed by Apple. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to those transactions. Paid features are sold by us (Emmber, Inc. / Om Apps), not by Florida State University.
- Service providers. Hosting, email delivery, and job-search APIs that process data on our behalf under their terms.
- Legal. If required by law or to protect users and the service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your resume or application history for advertising.
Sign in with Apple
If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with an identifier and, if you share it, a name and email (or a private relay address). See Apple’s privacy documentation for how Apple processes that data.
Retention
We keep account, profile, resume, and application data while your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing [email protected]. Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.
Children
The app is intended for college students and adults. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
- Browse jobs, open original postings, and use up to 15 Easy Applies per day without a subscription.
- Manage or cancel Autopilot in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Update or clear profile and resume data in the app when signed in.
- Request account deletion or a copy of your data via [email protected].
Third-party links
Campus Guide links (e.g. career.fsu.edu and other university sites) and job postings open third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Effective” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
