Privacy Policy
1. Overview
ASTB Study is designed to keep your study data on your device. We do not require an account and we do not operate a user profile server for this App.
2. Information you may provide
- Optional display name — stored on-device to personalize the Home screen.
- Optional focus preferences — answers you give in the optional focus check, stored on-device to rank study recommendations.
- Study progress — lessons completed, quiz results, XP, ranks, badges, streaks, missed-question review, and similar progress, stored on-device (SwiftData / local storage).
- Optional test date — stored on-device if you set one in Settings.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not sell your data. We do not use your name or study progress for advertising. This build does not include third-party analytics SDKs that upload your study history.
4. How we use on-device data
Local data is used only to operate App features: progress tracking, recommendations, gamification, settings, and legal acceptance status.
5. Sharing
We do not share your on-device study profile with the Department of Defense or any service branch. If you use device backups (e.g., iCloud Backup), your local App data may be included in backups you control under Apple’s terms.
6. Children
The App is intended for adults preparing for officer / aviation selection testing, not for children under 13.
7. Your choices
You can clear progress and local preferences from Settings (Reset progress). Deleting the App removes local App data on that device (subject to your backups).
